ADVERTISING SUPPLEMENT Charitable Foundation COVID-19 Update Real Estate Essential Services Proceeding Even with stay-at-home orders in place throughout the region, existing rules regulating real estate services remained un- changed as of Dec. 4, allowing Realtors to continue providing essential homebuying and selling services. Those rules required real estate professionals and their clients to comply with state and local health ordinances. Governor Gavin Newsom recently announced new restrictionis on top of the color-coded tier system. If a region's ICU capacity falls below 15 percent, a new stay-at-home order will be applied in that region for at least three weeks. State officials anticipate the majority of the state soon will qualify for this stay-at-home order. Visit the govermment's COVID website for information on a specific county. The SRAR Charitable Foundation was founded in 1990 as a non-profit, tax exempt charitable corporation. Its mission is to provide financial assistance to worthy local groups and ac tivities, with a special emphasis on housing-relat- ed causes. This year's recipients included: Hope of the Valley; Bridge to Home; San Fernando Valley Rescue Mission; New Horizons in the Santa Clarita and San Fernando valleys had to be cancelled due to the pandemic.
